Im sure yall know this by now but duping is back. Ya its fun to have all that extra stuff lying around but i high suggest if you have been doing it to either one slow down or stop. We all love realm, we all love the community it brings, we all hate the economy. Lets give it a chance to bounce back. On the brighter side the pets are actually going to do stuff! From the infamous sprite star to the wicked sick demon frog they will now be WORTH somthing! Power ups! From stat bonus's to helping you attack that ever so frightening deadstump the pirate king the pets are now helpfull lil companions 
reading up on this they have not released what they will do but i do understand you can combine pets to integrate their powers to make and ultimate sprite demon snake hell bat that puts those medusas in their place! New update will bundle to give us this new strategy loving fun of pets and fix duping. PM me for more info and let me know in the comments what you think all the animals will do!
